The art of painting is an art form that lasts from day to day and provides expression
in the frame of a certain aesthetic concern of emotions and thoughts. There are many elements
reflected in this species. One of these elements is the soil. We see the earth element in landscapebased pictures, which are usually a picture type. Yalçın Gökçebağ is one of the most important painting artists who combines harmony with other elements in nature in their works and uses them
with all realism or by styling and isolating them in some places. The artist has brought different
views to the soil, using different tones, in his works, which usually describe nature and land. In this
study, Yalçın Gökçebağ studied the form, description and reflections of the use of soil in the works
depicting the earth element.
