The Republic of Turkey received a lot of immigration from the Balkans before and
after its establishment. The Balkan Turks who immigrated to Turkey faltered in the face of a cultural
structure they had been in but did not know and did not know before, and had difficulty in adapting.
As a result, they became a member of the Balkan Turks Associations, which is a fellow countryman association. Thus, they came together with their fellow countrymen and ensured unity and solidarity.
However, they did not feel excluded in the society and did not feel alienated from the society.
This study was carried out in order to examine whether the Tekirdağ Balkan Turks Culture
and Solidarity Association, which is a fellow countryman’s association, can fulfill its purpose of
establishment.
