This study discusses the transformation of digital leadership, digitalization, and intellectual capital from a human resource management perspective and highlights their integrated role in shaping competitive advantage and organizational performance. In the digital era, value creation increasingly depends on intangible assets rather than physical resources, which positions intellectual capital as a key strategic source of competitiveness. The literature reviewed in the paper emphasizes that intellectual capital-through human, structural, and relational components has a statistically meaningful and positive association with performance outcomes, while digital leadership combines technology and the human factor to guide organizations through uncertainty and complexity. The paper also underlines that leadership support is widely considered a critical determinant of digital transformation success and argues that the relationship between digital leadership and intellectual capital development is bidirectional. Overall, the study concludes that sustainable competitiveness in today’s business environment is more likely to emerge when digital leadership, digitalization investments, and intellectual capital management are addressed jointly, as organizational strength largely stems from the synergy created at their intersection.
